A proud native of Richmond, Virginia, Stoney found his way to California with his family in 1976, and shortly thereafter was discovered by Hollywood, igniting an acting career as a child actor, maturing into both leading men and character roles in more than forty films — four decades of movies and television, including the cult classic movies, i.e., Walter Hill’s, “Streets of Fire”, “Wild Bill’ (opposite Jeff Bridges), “Trespass” (opposite Ice-T and the late Bill Paxton) and “CB4” with Chris Rock.

His Guest Star appearances on television include the iconic, award-winning “Mash”, and “Walker, Texas Ranger” (opposite Chuck Norris). Stoney has also been noted for his appearance in Michael Jackson’s groundbreaking music video, “Beat it”. He’s an accomplished martial artist, dancer, storyteller, and producer, and can be seen recurring in the series “Sangre Negra, Black Blood”, currently streaming on Amazon Prime, which he is also an Executive Producer.
